A more ergonomic Studio
These new features make managing data models in the Studio child’s play.
Simplified category management
Thanks to the category panel, organization in the Data Model Manager has never been easier. The panel includes:
- Two default categories (All and Uncategorized),
- User-defined custom categories.
The addition of a “Category” column further enhances information readability.
Reusable sets and hierarchies
It is now possible to copy/paste a set or hierarchy from one dimension to another, within the same data model or to a different model.
Graphics that keep getting richer
With this new version of DigDash Enterprise, you’ll discover a brand new type of chart, and new options to make your data even easier to read.
The Network graph makes its appearance
DigDash is pleased to introduce a new type of graph: the Network graph, which visualizes the interconnections between several sets of elements. In other words, each element is represented by a knot, and connections between knots are represented by links.
New gauge styles at your disposal
From now on, the Gauge graphic features will have two new, modern, and streamlined styles for improved legibility. Even better, the zones and their labels are fully customizable when configuring the data model.
A new option for Bar and Column charts
Last but not least, it is now possible to display stacking as percentage values for Bar and Column charts. This makes it easier to compare values.
New dashboards
With the new version of DigDash Enterprise, dashboard editing and display have been enhanced for an optimal user experience.
Simplified page configuration in the dashboard editor
All pages now have an editing panel similar to that for objects. It opens automatically on the right-hand side of the screen, allowing simple configuration of page properties.
Note that the editing panel is also available for multiple object selections.
Optimized display according to screen type
The editing panel lets you specify the visibility of a page according to the type of device used: Desktop (large screens) and/or Mobile (small screens).
Mobile-friendly dashboards
It is now possible to create a shortcut to DigDash and, with the right configuration, achieve app-like functionality. Viewing dashboards on mobile devices becomes much smoother.
New options for sharing pages and charts
Page sharing parameters are now integrated into the new page editing panel.
In addition, it is now possible to define the sharing of a page or chart to profiles as well as users.
Fast access to detailed data
A new option is available for displaying detailed data in the dashboard. To obtain this detailed information, just click on an element of your graph.
Ever more advanced configuration options
DigDash Enterprise is packed with new configuration options for optimized operation.
New user backup options
Roles, profiles, and authorization groups are now included when saving a user.
Simplified stream refresh scheduling
To simplify planning, stream and portfolio refreshes can now be scheduled directly from data models.
New options are available for scheduling the calendar. You can now program a refresh on every third day of the month: for example, the last Monday or the third Friday of the month.
Centralized user management
Thanks to a new editing matrix, multiple user selection is now possible in DigDash Enterprise. This is an invaluable feature for centralizing user management and simultaneously modifying their parameters, roles, authorizations, etc.
Real-time monitoring of storage usage
You can now view the actual storage usage of each cube from the Server Status page.
Improved export function
The latest addition to version 2023 of DigDash Enterprise is a significant improvement to the export function from the dashboard. Export tasks can now be easily tracked and canceled by an administrator.
